About Our Service

GarageLux Ltd operates as a retail and design company offering premium garage improvement products supplied and shipped directly from our trusted third-party partners and manufacturers.

This means that while your purchase is made with GarageLux Ltd, your products are fulfilled, packaged, and dispatched directly by our suppliers.

We only work with reputable fulfilment partners to ensure you receive the highest quality products and reliable delivery service.

Delivery Information

UK & Ireland Orders

All UK and Ireland box shipment orders are dispatched by our supplier network using one or more of the following courier services: ParcelForce, DHL, FedEx (TNT), Express Freight, or PW Gates.

Larger orders are sent via pallet delivery with PW Gates.
Delivery with these couriers typically takes 2–5 working days within the UK and Ireland once the supplier has processed your order.

International Orders

All products shipped to international customers are sent by our suppliers using the following services:
• Box shipments: DHL, FedEx (TNT), or ParcelForce
• Pallet shipments (larger quantities): DB Schenker or Palletforce

Delivery times vary depending on supplier location and destination country.

Please note: delivery times are estimates provided by our suppliers and may vary depending on stock availability, customs clearance, or courier delays. GarageLux Ltd cannot be held responsible for third-party courier delays once an order has been dispatched.

Delivery Costs

Shipping costs depend on the delivery location and whether the order is sent as a box shipment or pallet.

• UK & Ireland: Delivery costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on supplier rates and order quantity.
• International Orders: Please contact us for an exact shipping quote before placing your order.

Import Taxes & Duties

If your delivery address is outside the United Kingdom, you (the customer) are responsible for any import taxes, customs duties, or local charges imposed by your country’s authorities.

GarageLux Ltd. and its suppliers accept no responsibility for these additional charges.

If you are unsure what import fees may apply, please contact your local customs office before placing your order.

Payment Methods

We accept the following methods of payment:
1. Credit/Debit Card – Goods can only be delivered to the billing address associated with the card.
2. Bank Transfer – Goods can be delivered to any nominated address.

All transactions are processed in GBP (£) Sterling.

If your card is billed in another currency, your card provider will convert the amount into your local currency at their current exchange rate. Due to currency fluctuations and conversion fees, the final billed amount may vary by up to 4%.

By placing an order, you accept these conditions. GarageLux Ltd. is not responsible for exchange rate variations or foreign transaction charges.

To pay by bank transfer, please contact our sales team for details.

Missed Deliveries

All deliveries require a signature upon receipt.

If delivery is attempted while you are not at home, the courier will leave a card with instructions to either:
• Rearrange delivery at no additional cost, or
• Collect your parcel from a local depot.

If you are not available during weekdays, we can arrange delivery to your workplace. Please provide the full business name, address, and a contact telephone number.

Invoices

An invoice will be issued for every order.

If you do not receive one, please contact our accounts department — a copy can be provided free of charge.

Packaging

All goods are checked and packaged directly by our suppliers prior to dispatch.

Our suppliers use modern wrapping and packing systems to ensure products reach you safely and in good condition. Packaging styles may vary between suppliers.

If you have specific packaging requirements, please contact us before placing your order.

Delivery Insurance & Damaged Goods

All deliveries are insured by our suppliers.

If your parcel arrives with visible damage to the outer packaging, please sign for it as “DAMAGED.”

After opening, if you find any damaged items, please email us immediately with photos of the packaging and item. We will liaise with the supplier to arrange a replacement or refund free of charge.

As GarageLux Ltd acts as a retail intermediary, all claims for damage or loss are handled in accordance with our supplier’s policies. We will assist you throughout the process to ensure a satisfactory resolution.

Please note: any item that shows signs of having been fitted or used will be excluded from exchange or refund.

Returns & Refunds Policy

We hope you’re completely satisfied with your purchase, but if you need to return an item, our policy is as follows:

• You must notify us within 14 days of delivery if you wish to return an item.
• Goods must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.
• Custom-made or special-order items may not be eligible for return.
• Once approved, returns should be sent back to the supplier’s return address (which we will confirm).
• Returns may be subject to a restocking or handling fee depending on supplier policy.
• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the supplier receiving the returned goods.

Please contact our team before returning any items so we can provide the correct return instructions.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.

Warranty & Guarantees

Products & Materials

All products and materials are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty as provided by our suppliers.
Most products include a minimum 12-month warranty, and many flooring and lighting products include a 7-year supplier warranty.

GarageLux Ltd will assist in liaising with the supplier or manufacturer regarding any warranty claims, but the final warranty terms and remedies are provided by the manufacturer or supplier.

BUNKER® Storage Warranty

GarageLux Ltd is an authorised retailer of BUNKER® storage products. All BUNKER® items are covered by the manufacturer’s comprehensive 10-year warranty, giving you long-term peace of mind.

Warranty Details:
• Initial Coverage: A standard 12-month manufacturer’s warranty applies to all BUNKER® products.
• Extended Coverage: This warranty is extended to 10 years upon successful registration.
To activate the extended warranty, customers must register their product within 28 days of purchase using the official BUNKER® registration form.

Warranty Exclusions (non-exhaustive):
• Fair wear and tear
• Accessories or consumables
• Damage caused by misuse, careless, or unsafe handling
• Alterations, modifications, or non-approved repairs
• Damage caused by accidents or unauthorised repair attempts
• Lost keys (replacement keys can be purchased for £20.00 each)
• Keys broken inside locks
• Missing or invalid serial number or proof of purchase

All warranty claims must be inspected and authorised by BUNKER® to determine eligibility. If you need to make a claim, please contact our customer service team first. We will liaise with BUNKER® on your behalf and assist with the claim process.

Labour & Installation Work

Any fitting or labour carried out directly by GarageLux Ltd includes a 3-month workmanship guarantee.
If any issues arise within 3 months of completion, please contact us and we will review your options.
Flooring installations are covered under our Flooring Installation Guarantee & Conditions detailed below.

Flooring Installation Guarantee & Conditions

All garage flooring installations carried out by GarageLux Ltd are completed in accordance with professional standards and the manufacturer’s guidelines. Our workmanship guarantee for fitting and installation covers 3 months from the date of completion.

The following terms apply specifically to PVC, Vented, and Versoflor tile installations:

1. Expansion Gap
All tiles are fitted with a minimum 5 mm expansion gap around the perimeter and any fixed obstacles (walls, cabinets, posts, etc.) to allow for natural expansion and contraction.

2. Thermal Expansion & Contraction
It is normal for modular tiles to expand in warmer conditions and contract in cooler conditions. Minor movement or temporary lifting at interlocks may occur during temperature changes. This is not a defect and typically settles as temperatures stabilise.

3. Direct Sunlight Exposure
Prolonged direct sunlight can cause tiles to soften, expand, or temporarily warp, particularly darker colours. Tiles usually return to their normal shape once cooled. To reduce this, we recommend limiting direct sunlight by using blinds, curtains, or coverings where possible.

4. Floating Floor Design
Garage floor tiles are designed to be floating floors — they are not glued or permanently fixed. This allows natural movement and easy replacement if required. By default, GarageLux does not glue down flooring unless specifically requested in writing before installation. If you prefer a bonded installation, please let us know in advance so we can advise on suitable adhesives, preparation, and any additional cost.

5. Subfloor Conditions
The subfloor must be clean, level, dry, and free from cracks, oil, or moisture before fitting. GarageLux Ltd cannot be held responsible for issues caused by subfloor movement, damp, or moisture that existed or developed after installation. If moisture levels are uncertain, a moisture test should be conducted prior to fitting.

6. Heavy Loads & Use
Tiles are suitable for domestic and light commercial use. Damage caused by excessive point loads, sharp objects, or dragging heavy items (such as axle stands or metal jacks) is not covered under warranty.

7. Post-Installation Care
Allow the flooring to acclimatise for 24 hours before placing heavy items or vehicles on it. Clean with a pH-neutral cleaner only; avoid harsh solvents or chemicals. Failure to follow care advice may void the installation guarantee.

Note: Movement caused by temperature variation, improper subfloor conditions, or sunlight exposure does not constitute an installation fault. Our guarantee covers workmanship issues only, such as poor alignment or incomplete fitting. Please contact us within the guarantee period if you experience any concerns.

Garage Makeovers – Terms & Conditions

GarageLux Ltd. provides cosmetic and aesthetic garage improvements only. Our services are designed to enhance the appearance and functionality of your garage while maintaining its use as a garage.

We do not undertake conversions into habitable living spaces.

Planning Permission

Planning permission is generally not required for internal cosmetic improvements, provided the garage remains used as a garage. However, regulations can vary — please check with your local council or planning authority before work begins.

GarageLux Ltd. accepts no responsibility for obtaining planning permission or building control approvals.

Pre-Work Inspection

Before we commence work, the garage must be inspected by the customer or a qualified specialist to ensure it is free from damp, condensation, or mould. These issues must be professionally resolved before any work begins.

GarageLux Ltd. cannot be held responsible for problems resulting from damp or mould that were not properly treated prior to our involvement.

Our standard three-month workmanship warranty excludes any damage or defects caused by damp, condensation, or mould where a pre-work inspection was not carried out by a registered professional.
